New Walker Accessories Brighten Life for Shut-Ins

March 12, 2009 – Boulder, CO – WalkerWonder, the maker of an extensive line of patent-pending decorative walker banners, today announced that it is initiating a special outreach to church elder care ministries due to feedback from its customers who take part in church care for shut-ins.

According to Kathleen Kneeland, company spokesperson, “Our walker and rollator products help brighten the lives of people who use mobility aids. But we were struck by the large number of people who said during research that they would want to give a walker banner not just to a family member but also to an elderly or shut-in member of their church or to a nursing home resident they visit.”

Kneeland emphasized, “We were inspired by the generosity. We hadn’t suggested this idea; church members suggested it themselves, especially when they thought about giving a group gift from the elder care ministry.”
